Nevertheless, our research and development work never ends: As a member of the HA Group, Chemex has access to the pooled expertise of one of the world’s leading foundry suppliers. Committed to offering our customers even better solutions, our R&D department is constantly working on and testing new materials until they are ready for series production.
Patented know-how
Sands, insulating materials, exothermic components: we process 10,000 tons of raw materials in Delligsen every year. We use specially developed formulations for each of our different product variants, mixing each feed mass precisely, down to the very last gram. The composition is Chemex know-how, much of which is patented. And it is the unique material mix that determines its insulating and/or exothermic properties.

We always see the bigger picture. Achieving the best casting results and an efficient production process means that various parameters must be coordinated with each other.
No job too big, no job too small
Feeders are individually calculated for each application and designed accordingly. Chemex’s extraordinary product diversity guarantees customers an optimal choice, with feeders ranging from the very small to the very large, with volumes of over 11 litres.
Top performance
Our innovative feeder systems reduce your melting and fettling costs. The feeder’s minimal footprint makes it easier to knock off the risers, while our fluorine-free formulations also prevent surface defects. For our customers this means more efficient processes, clean results and smooth surfaces.
